- Trusts and societies must submit their registration certificates
Address and Location Proof
- Utility bill like electricity or property tax bill for proof of business address
- Rent agreement if the premises are rented, along with NOC from the landlord
- Ownership document if premises are self-owned
- For shared premises, consent letter from the owner is accepted
- Multiple business locations require individual documentation
Bank and Financial Details
- Scanned copy of a canceled cheque with pre-printed name or bank passbook
- Bank account number, IFSC code, and account holder name are needed
- The account must be in the name of the business or proprietor
- Statements may be required as part of KYC verification
- Accurate bank details ensure prompt refund and return filing
Digital and Verification Requirements
- Digital signature certificate (DSC) for companies and LLPs is mandatory
- Aadhaar-based electronic verification for sole proprietors and individuals
- TRN (Temporary Reference Number) must be used to track application
- All documents must be uploaded in JPEG or PDF format as per specifications
- Final submission is completed upon OTP or e-sign verification
