2. Application Form (Form 1)
- Official form prescribed under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932
- Includes information about the firm name, address, partners, and date of joining
- Must be signed by all partners or an authorized signatory
- Requires accurate and complete details to avoid rejection
- Submitted to the Registrar of Firms of the respective state
3. Address Proof of the Business
- Proof of the registered office or place of business
- Documents such as a rent agreement or utility bill may be used
- In case of owned premises, a property ownership document is required
- A Landlord’s No Objection Certificate is needed if the property is rented
- Proof should match the business address mentioned in Form 1
4. Identity and Address Proof of Partners
- Documents like Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, or passport
- Proof of residential address for each partner
- Must be clear, valid, and self-attested copies
- Used to verify the identity of individuals forming the firm
- Required for background checks and official records
5. Additional Declarations and Affidavits
- Declaration that all provided information is true and complete
- Affidavit stating the intention to form a partnership under the Act
- Any specific state-wise compliance documents as applicable
- Consent letter if a partner is representing another legal entity
