Exporters of Scheduled Products
- Businesses or individuals involved in the export of products listed under the APEDA Act, 1985, are mandatorily required to register. These products include:
- Fruits and vegetables
- Meat and meat products
- Poultry and dairy products
- Honey, jaggery, and sugar products
- Floriculture and seeds
- Confectionery, biscuits, and bakery products
- Cereals, pulses, and millets
- Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Miscellaneous processed food products
2. Businesses with Export Intent
- Entities planning to start exporting agricultural or processed food products must obtain APEDA registration before initiating export activities.
3. Manufacturers of Export Products
- Manufacturers who supply goods for export under categories regulated by APEDA need registration to access assistance programs and financial benefits.
4. Farmers and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs)
- Farmers or FPOs exporting their produce or looking to benefit from APEDA schemes and training programs are also required to register.
