The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has officially launched the updated version of the FiLLiP (Form for Incorporation of Limited Liability Partnership), marking a significant enhancement in India’s digital compliance infrastructure. The new version, now live on the MCA V3 portal as of June 2025, incorporates a user-friendly interface, improved validation protocols, and streamlined workflows for faster LLP incorporation. This upgrade is aligned with the government’s broader objective to simplify the business registration process and promote ease of doing business across the country.
Key improvements include auto-population of partner details from DIN/DPIN records, integrated name reservation features, and real-time document error detection. The updated FiLLiP also allows for the simultaneous allotment of PAN, TAN, and GSTIN, drastically reducing the need for post-registration formalities. Furthermore, applicants can now upload supporting documents in drag-and-drop format, preview the application in real time, and receive instant alerts on missing or mismatched information, significantly improving filing accuracy and speed.
The MCA has provided updated help manuals, FAQs, and demo videos to support users navigating the new form. Professionals and startups have welcomed the change, noting that the revised FiLLiP form will cut incorporation time down to just 2–3 working days in most cases, provided all documents are in order. This launch is a pivotal part of the government’s ongoing commitment to digitize corporate filings, reduce red tape, and foster a startup-friendly regulatory ecosystem.
