Hello Auditor

EPF Claim Form Submission Now Fully Paperless

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has made a landmark move by making the EPF claim form submission process fully paperless, marking a major milestone in its ongoing digital transformation. Members can now submit claims for withdrawals, advances, pension benefits, and final settlements entirely through online platforms without the need for physical forms or visits to EPFO offices. This digital upgrade is expected to significantly reduce turnaround time, eliminate procedural delays, and ensure greater convenience and transparency for users.

The process requires members to log in to the Unified Member Portal using their Universal Account Number (UAN) and submit claims digitally after verifying key information such as Aadhaar, PAN, bank account, and exit details. Once the claim is submitted, the system auto-verifies the information with linked government databases, and no employer attestation is required if all KYC documents are digitally approved. This move simplifies the process, especially for members in remote areas or those changing jobs frequently.

EPFO officials have emphasized that the paperless system is also equipped with real-time tracking and status updates, which can be accessed via the portal or the UMANG mobile app. Members receive alerts at each stage of claim processing, ensuring full visibility and control over their retirement fund transactions. With this initiative, EPFO reinforces its commitment to delivering faster, secure, and efficient services while reducing its reliance on manual processing and promoting eco-friendly governance.
