1. Basic Identification Documents

• PAN card of the Karta (head of the HUF).
• Aadhaar card of the Karta and coparceners (if required).
• Address proof (electricity bill, passport, voter ID, etc.).
• Recent passport-sized photographs of the Karta.

2. HUF Deed (Optional but Recommended)

• A written HUF Deed declaring the formation of the HUF.
• Names of all members (coparceners) included in the HUF.
• Details of ancestral or joint family property (if any).
• Signed by the Karta and at least two adult members as witnesses.

3. PAN Card Application for HUF

• Form 49A (for Indian HUFs) or 49AA (for NRIs).
• Copy of the HUF Deed (if available).
• Proof of identity and address of the Karta.
• Bank account details in the name of the HUF.

4. Bank Account for HUF

• HUF PAN card (mandatory).
• HUF Deed or affidavit for HUF formation.
• Resolution (if required by the bank) naming the Karta.
• Address proof of the Karta and HUF (if separate).

5. Additional Documents (If Applicable)

• Property documents (if HUF owns assets).
• Gift deed (if property is gifted to HUF).
• Partnership deed (if HUF enters a business).
• Will or succession certificate (for inherited property).
