To raise awareness and improve regulatory compliance, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) hosted a national-level webinar on LLP compliance, bringing together stakeholders, professionals, and regulators from across the country. Held in July 2025, the session was part of the MCA’s ongoing outreach under its “Ease of Doing Business” and “Digital Compliance for All” initiatives. The webinar focused on recent policy updates, common compliance lapses, and best practices for Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs) operating in India.

Key topics covered included annual filings (Form 8 and Form 11), digital signature certificate (DSC) management, partner updates via Form 4, and the role of the MCA V3 portal in streamlining LLP submissions. Officials also provided demonstrations on using new features such as mobile filings, e-verification, and compliance dashboards. The webinar addressed FAQs on strike-off procedures, compounding of offences, and LLP participation in government tenders, clarifying doubts raised by company secretaries, chartered accountants, and LLP partners during the live Q&A segment.

The MCA announced that recordings and presentation materials would be made available on its official website, and urged participants to conduct regular compliance health checks. Experts praised the initiative for enhancing transparency and bridging the knowledge gap for small and mid-sized LLPs, particularly those in Tier II and Tier III cities. Going forward, the MCA plans to conduct similar webinars regionally and sector-wise to further strengthen compliance culture, digital adoption, and proactive reporting among LLPs nationwide.
