A specialized Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) workshop was recently conducted for government engineers across multiple departments to enhance their understanding of secure digital practices in official workflows. The session aimed to equip engineers with the technical knowledge needed to apply, use, and manage DSCs effectively in processes such as e-tendering, project approvals, and digital documentation.
Participants were trained on the legal validity, issuance procedures, and authentication mechanisms of DSCs, along with live demonstrations on how to digitally sign engineering drawings, compliance reports, and audit submissions. The workshop also emphasized error prevention, secure storage, and the importance of timely renewals, ensuring that government infrastructure projects maintain digital accountability and procedural integrity.
Officials stated that with the increasing digitization of public sector operations, it is essential for technical personnel to be well-versed in digital authentication tools. The workshop marks a step forward in building a technically competent and digitally empowered government workforce, fostering greater efficiency, transparency, and security in public project execution.
