Log in and Access the Profile Section
- Log in to the GST portal using your authorized credentials.
- Navigate to the dashboard and open the “Profile” or “My Profile” section.
- This section allows you to manage and verify your Digital Signature Certificate (DSC).
Install the Required Utility
- Ensure that the required utility for DSC use is installed on your system.
- This utility enables secure communication between the portal and your DSC token.
- Make sure the token is plugged in and the software is running properly.
Register or Update the DSC
- Click on the option to register or update DSC within the profile.
- A list of authorized signatories will appear for selection.
- Select the appropriate authorized signatory whose DSC needs to be verified.
Select the Certificate from the Token
- A pop-up will display available DSCs stored in your token.
- Choose the correct certificate associated with the authorized signatory.
- Ensure the certificate details, such as name and PAN, match the GST profile.
Authenticate and Verify
- Enter the token PIN when prompted to authenticate the certificate.
- After successful verification, a confirmation message will appear.
- This indicates that the DSC is now verified and linked to the GST account.
Use the Verified DSC for Filings
- Once verified, the DSC can be used to sign returns, forms, and applications.
- It remains active for use unless revoked or updated.
- Always keep the token safe and do not share access credentials.
