Hello Auditor

LLPs Can Now File MCA Forms via Mobile App

In a pioneering digital leap, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has launched a mobile application that allows Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs) to file key compliance forms directly through their smartphones. This new facility, introduced in July 2025 under the Digital India initiative, enables LLPs to manage statutory responsibilities with greater flexibility and ease. The MCA LLP Mobile App supports filings such as Form 11 (Annual Return), Form 8 (Statement of Account), and partner updates in Form 4, thereby eliminating the exclusive reliance on desktop portals.

The mobile app is integrated with the MCA V3 system and offers biometric login, DSC compatibility via Bluetooth token readers, and real-time alerts for upcoming compliance deadlines. Users can preview forms, upload supporting documents, and receive filing acknowledgments instantly. Additionally, the app features in-app tutorials, guided help sections, and multilingual support to assist entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds. Importantly, data encryption and secure cloud storage mechanisms ensure that filings remain confidential and tamper-proof.

Legal professionals and industry stakeholders have praised the initiative as a game changer for compliance ease, especially for startups, solo professionals, and small LLPs operating in remote or mobile-first environments. The government has emphasized that this mobile-first strategy will not only boost timely filings but also support paperless governance, inclusive participation, and real-time regulatory engagement. MCA has advised LLP users to link their mobile numbers to their LLP profiles and update contact information to fully benefit from the app’s features.
