The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has launched a fully web-based version of the FiLLiP (Form for Incorporation of Limited Liability Partnership) as part of its initiative to streamline business registration processes and improve user experience. The updated online form, hosted on the MCA V3 portal, marks a significant step toward paperless and faster LLP incorporations. With this rollout, applicants can now complete the entire registration process digitally, from name reservation to partner details and document uploads, without downloading or printing any forms.

The web-based FiLLiP form integrates multiple services into a single digital workflow. It allows users to apply for a Designated Partner Identification Number (DPIN), reserve a name, register the LLP, and pre-fill related details automatically using MCA-linked databases. The interface offers dynamic form fields, real-time error validation, and preview options to minimize filing mistakes. In addition, applicants can track the status of their submission and receive approvals electronically, accelerating incorporation timelines and reducing administrative burdens for startups and professionals.

This reform is part of the MCA’s broader commitment to enhance India’s ease of doing business. The introduction of the web-based FiLLiP is expected to significantly cut down registration times from weeks to a few working days, especially for first-time entrepreneurs. The MCA has also provided help guides, FAQs, and video tutorials to assist users in navigating the new platform.
