Standard Correction Fee

  • The prescribed fee for submitting a TAN correction request is ₹65
  • This includes ₹55 as application charge and ₹10 as Goods and Services Tax (GST)
  • The fee is uniform across all modes of submission, whether online or offline
  • It is a non-refundable fee, applicable per correction request submitted

Mode of Payment

  • For online applications, payment can be made using debit card, credit card, or net banking
  • For offline submissions at TIN Facilitation Centers, payment can be made in cash, by demand draft, or cheque, subject to the center’s accepted modes
  • The demand draft must be drawn in favor of the authorized service provider (Protean eGov Technologies Limited)

  • Also required when updating records for changes due to business restructuring or migration
  • Payable even if only minor corrections are being made

Acknowledgment of Payment

  • An acknowledgment receipt is generated after payment is made
