    • Upload required documents.
  5. Add Employee Details:
    • Enter details like:
      • Number of employees.
      • Salaries and wages.
      • Names and UANs (Universal Account Numbers) of employees (if available).
  6. Submit and Generate Code:
    • Upon submission, the system generates an Establishment Code Number, which is your PF registration number.

  • PAN card of the business.
  • Certificate of Incorporation/Business Registration.
  • Address proof of the business (electricity bill, rental agreement, etc.).

2. ESI Registration (Under ESI Act, 1948)

Eligibility

  • Mandatory for establishments with 10 or more employees earning a monthly salary of up to ₹21,000.
  • Voluntary registration is also permitted.

  1. Visit the ESIC Portal:
    • Go to the Portal.
  2. Sign Up as an Employer:
    • Click on ‘Sign Up’ under the ‘Employer Login’ section.
    • Create an account by providing basic details like employer name, email, and phone number.
  3. Log in to ESIC Portal:
    • Use the credentials to log in to the portal.
  4. Fill in Establishment Details:
    • Provide details about your business:
      • Name and address of the establishment.
      • Type of ownership (proprietorship, partnership, company).
      • Nature of business activity.
      • Date of commencement.
      • Employee details (name, salary, designation, etc.).
  5. Upload Required Documents:
    • Upload the necessary documents, such as:
      • Business registration certificate.
      • PAN of the business.
      • Address proof of the establishment.
      • Bank details.
  6. Pay Contribution:
    • An initial contribution payment may be required to complete the registration.
  7. Receive Registration Certificate (C-11):
    • After verification, you’ll receive a 17-digit ESI Registration Number (C-11), confirming the successful registration.

      • Employee: 0.75% of gross salary.
